The Roseville College Foundation
There is great potential in every gift.
The Roseville College Foundation seeks to foster a culture of philanthropy in our community and to raise funds for the benefit of the School. Founded in 1997, the Foundation is administered under the auspices of The Anglican Schools Corporation’s tax deductible gift status.
Financial gifts have been a feature of the College since its earliest years. The first known bequest to Roseville Girls College was specifically to discharge a longstanding mortgage of the School’s first building, Hinemoan Cottage. The bequest was a provision in the will of our founder, Miss Isobel Davies, who was also the College’s first and longest-serving Headmistress.
We know that there is great potential in every gift. The College deeply appreciates each family and each individual who has contributed to the College financially. Their generosity has had, and continues to have, a lasting impact on our School.
Our charitable funds
The Roseville College Building Fund was established in years past to provide money for capital works at the College. Donations to our Building Fund are an important contributor to the financial strength of the College, enabling needed investment in facilities such as the Joy Yeo Music and Performing Arts Auditorium, the Multipurpose Hall and, most recently, the new Sport and Wellbeing Centre development.
Our Foundation Scholarship was established in 2014 to give an opportunity to a deserving, hard-working girl of strong character to become part of our Roseville family. The scholarship is needs-based and entirely funded by donations from the Roseville community.
Foundation Committee
The Roseville College Foundation Committee is a volunteer group that provides advice and support to the College in its fundraising efforts. The Committee is appointed by the Principal of Roseville College with members drawn from the parent body, the alumni community and the broader Roseville College network. Operationally, the Foundation is managed by the Director of Development and Community Engagement, who is a member of the Roseville College staff.
We wish to ensure that our girls, both the current students and future generations, have the best facilities to support them in their education.
