Christian Faith

Roseville College is an Anglican School for Girls, which means we nurture and educate our students in accordance with the doctrines, tenets, beliefs and teachings of the Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney.

Our students have access to Chaplaincy services with the College Chaplain, attend weekly Chapel services, and participate in our Christian Studies programs from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The College vision is guided by the Christian values of Love, Hope, Grace and Truth; likewise, students are actively encouraged to practise faith-based qualities such as self-control, service, grace, kindness, mercy, forgiveness and love.

Each girl participates in a range of community service learning initiatives during her time at Roseville College, and has the opportunity to join faith and values-based clubs and programs on campus (such as Crusaders, Charity and Service clubs, Anglicare, and International Service Learning Trips).

School Bible Reading

Colossians 3:12-17 (NRSV)

As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another with all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
